  2. Why do the so called Internet Marketing Guru’s never show a niche that has actually made them money? It appears to me that everyone plus their grandmother is peddling how to get rich on the net.

Is there actually any OTHER niche?

I know just what you mean. I think it has to do a few things:

*The newbie has just been extremely inspired from an affiliate offer which made it extremely easy for him to sign up right there on the same page she/he’s already reading making for a quick entrance into the “game”(this of course greatly helps out the owner of the affiliate program!)…

*“How To Get Rich on the Net” is so appealing to one of the strongest of desires: TO MAKE MORE MONEY! Therefore, it is often times assumed that this would be the logical niche to start in…

*The market research involved in finding good niches is very tedious and time consuming…sort of on the “geek/nerd” level…

*and Probably the most obvious, not many marketers want to reveal their profitable niches because of fear of competition…

…the list could go on and on, but with the right software one could find some highly profitable niches or even doing something simple like browsing through ads in the various types of newspapers and magazines noticing the ads that constantly repeat over time. One thing you can bet on is that those advertisers would not continue to advertise a specific offer unless it’s converting because advertising is NOT cheap.

    p.s.
You could also just purchase some turnkey plugin and play type sites that are already in proven and successful niches, here are 2 good resources: 12 Niche Websites Kit and 47 Turnkey affiliate Websites ;)
